Puja and Idol Making at the Mandir: 2006 Holly Avenue, Columbia, MO 65202

Ganesh Idol Making Sunday 09/17 – 10:30 am – 12:00 pm.

Join us for our annual Ganesh idol making get together at the Mandir. Youth and adults alike will make Lord Ganesha, Mooshika vahana, Modaks and other treats for Lord Ganesha from clay. This is a favorite activity for the kids as they choose to make their own Ganesh idols their way and then take it home and decorate it in many colors. Kids bring back these idols on the Ganesh Chaturthi Pooja day on 09/18 and/or for Visarjan on 09/27.

India’s Independence celebration with SAHA’s Health screening camp – Tuesday 08/15 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm

You are all invited for the India’s Independence Day celebration on August 15th this Tuesday at the Mandir. The activity includes national anthems, songs and light snack. MU School of Medicine’s South Asian Healthcare Advocacy group (SAHA) is hosting a basic Health Screening (BP and blood sugar testing).
