As has become the tradition for more than a decade, HTCC Helping Hands participated in the city-organized annual service project Clean-up Columbia on Saturday, April 12, 2014. The service group Helping Hands predates Shanthi Mandir and HTCC! Since 2006 HTCC Helping Hands has teamed up with Bal Sabha to work at two clean-up locations for the yearly volunteering effort. Bal Sabha volunteers will clean-up in and around the Ridgeway Elementary School (Bal Sabha’s Adopt a Spot location) on Sexton Road. The HTCC Helping Hands crew cleaned up on Holly Avenue (both sides from Parker to Oakland Gravel, including the Shanthi Mandir lot).
