The 2013 HTCC Youth Day Picnic, which includes Bal Sabha and Bal Puja groups, was held on Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 3:00 pm – 7 :00 pm at Dexheimer Shelter, Cosmo Park.
The ever-popular picnic included a unique feature this year – the FOOD MELA. A group of enterprising moms cooked up a storm – idli, dosa, chutney, sambar, tamarind rice, dahi vada – YUM!!! Some of the food was cooked at home, but the dosas were produced on site – hot, crisp and totally delicious. 
Donations were sought for all the food that was eaten, which added up to a neat contribution to HTCC’s coffers.
Even the rather hot and humid day did not dampen the smiles and enthusiasm of the cooks or the lip-smackin’ diners. The yummy food was followed by the traditional tug-o-war and group photo.
